i dealt with a salesman named Pat Cronin and after some small 

problems,I dealt with

and it showed up

with a 3 flange instead. In the end it turned out all right as I need

The throttle body is a Mazda 13 B cut down with the entrance moved to

The plane is an older plans built design known as a Smith 

Sidewinder.Its a low

wing all aluminum construction with a tube frame.Looks much like a 

Thorp 18.The alt.

is mounted on a steel plate afixed to the block with the existing bolt 

holes that are

there already. It is driven by a cog tooth belt system along with a 

Ford pump to

reduce a little weight where I give it away somewhere else.

I know about 2SI. I guess they merged or bought AMW.

Yes. Here it is. A quote from their web site.

Stroke International" was selected as a trade name in 1996. "AMW Cuyuna
Engine Co., Inc." remains the official corporate title."

 
I did not think they made any 200 HP two cycle engines.
I like the motor mount arrangement too. Was that part of the 2SI bell
housing?
Was it tough to adapt the PSRU bell housing to the 13B engine.

Sounds like a great price if it works.
