On the subject of the 30 degree inputs, yes, I believe the CPU is handling an
interrupt for each pulse. Thus place the 30 degree holes equally between the
other holes.

Sounds like a good idea. You would only need three.

Here is the latest version showing the different hole spacing.
When I get done incorporating everybody's 
suggestion I will put it up on the web site. I have not yet
shown the solution to the carbon fiber crush on the drawing. 

Perhaps little spacers sandwiched between stainless steel sheets 
and epoxied in place. The usual trick when dealing with carbon fiber
in contact with metal is to place a layer of glass fiber over
the carbon on both sides. This reduces the potential for 
corrosion (pardon the pun).

Is everybody using a flywheeel or are some of you
using the auto transmission flex plate or as Mazda calls it
the "drive plate"?
