The 13B triple was originally built by a NZ engineer in partnership with
a rotary engine expert who has spent quite some time in Japan doing race
engines for various rotary race teams such as the Katayama race team &
other top GT race teams. He has built more 20B race engines than most
Aussie rotary builders put together & say that (after a little laugh
about Matt saying the 13B triple was done by Mazsport in Sydney) the
eccentric shaft design is a very strong one capable of tolerating bigger
HP than a similar 20B application.

Now if I sound a little one sided, it's because this guy moved to Sydney
& is now a local. We have all lean't a lot from him since his arrival
espeially about how to pick the dud 20B's from the good ones.

As for the 13B triple Rx-7, Matt Liechter is another local within our
3rotor group of friends (although he's recently moved to his own
server). Mazsport in Sydney originally had the engine lined up for there
own RX-3 drag car after buying it from NZ around 94-95. Mazsport then
lost interest in the project & sold it to Matt for his Rx-7 project.
