Hi Paul
I just finish talking to Ed Anderson and he told me about the rotary engine
list. He said that I would find it interesting.
I have been working with Mazda cars for the last 30 years, from building
rotary engines to racing them. At the present time I am building a 13b for my
airplane. I have my own Mazda repair shop (last 23 years) in So Cal.
Please add me to the list.

Just the man I am looking for.
Vince where is your shop? I want to get my wife's 84 RX7 resurected
and through the smog check.
I'll get it over there somehow. I think one or more of the ignition
modules are bad. Is there a CARB approved after market ignition
system for a 84 RX7? I don't want to pay Mazda $300 each for those
modules.

Hey Paul,

The MSD 6A costs about $150, and the increase in gas mileage will
probably pay for the MSD in a years time. It will run directly from the
magnetic trigger in your distributor. If you get one of these, make
sure you trigger it directly from the pickup, and not the ignitor
output.

What igniter output? :-)

Do you think it is approved by the CARB?
