May I suggest contacting EAA information services for answers to your
questions regarding 100LL?

Reference Guide to E.A.A. Publications 1953 through 1989 p. 101
lists about 60 references to the use of autogas.

The website would be www.eaa.org.
EAA did a thorough research on auto fuels around 1986.

ASTM D908, 357, 614, and 909 are references to gasoline rating
methods in my old ME Handbook (6th ed).

614 and 909 would probably be for aviation, i.e. aviation
lean, and rich mixture respectively.

 Hope this helps.
