As Paul Yaw just pointed out monitor the turbine RPM and
keep checking for cracks. It is a question of durabilty.

Needless to say the turbo system  was never engineered to
generate that amount of HP on a continuous basis. The engine
revs up and the transmission shifts everything is over
in less than ten seconds on an acceleration run.

I expect you may well be right, but while opinion educated by
experience is great, detailed analysis often better, and actual
testing beats both.  I hope to do some of the testing.

The only thing that makes me think that the stock turbo may work is
that Tracy may be getting 180 Hp out of a basically stock engine and
I'd be happy with a 11% increase over that number and the capacity to
normalize.  That sounds fairly modest, at least at first glance.

I don't plan to mount this thing in an airplane for years, so I have
time to experiment and learn.  I have another plane to finish first.
