I will give you a little history. When I was on RAH
a certain articulate  psychology  professor who thought he
knew it all about physics and airplanes questioned me on the 
statement above. He and others on there had everybody thinking
I was an idiot asshole. There was regular feeding frenzy going on. 

That was before I had a scanner and I owned Von Mises's book :-). 
Not that a scanner would do you any good on RAH anyway as the 
newsgroups do not accept graphics. 

I was working strictly from basic physics and years of 
experience in the race car world. 

In return I accused him of being a subject for study in the 
psychology department and not an instructor :-)

As Brent Regan told me; "never argue with an idiot because 
a casual bystander cannot tell the difference!" :-)

I am forever in debt to Brent Regan for this wisdom.
