points for horsepower versus Rpm for Perry's engine
in it's present configuration. I have a family of
prop programs that I have been working on for
years, which should let me do a decent cut on
fan blade width and pitch, and then a rough
prediction of engine rpm and thrust at various
plane speeds. I will then do a similar estimate
for a typical piston engine prop combo that would
be suitable for an Ezee - These are all for naked

thing a duct can do is not degrade the prop

Does anybody have a power or torque curve for a normally
aspirated stock Mazda 180 HP rotary engine?
Is that the HP you have Perry?
There is a plot on my website at
http://www.mickaircraft.com/duckt.htm
that shows what I believe to be my HP vs. RPM curve.
The '86 NA engine I have is rated at 146 HP at 6500 RPM.
Redline is 7000 RPM.
With my current prop I'm only operating 4200 static to ?
cruise.
Ideally it would be nice to get to 5000 static and 6000
cruise.
This HP plot was fabricated, scaling an older Mazda plot
to 146 HP at 6500 rpm, so if anyone has better data,
please forward it.

Yours is the tuned intake manifold Perry so I think it is more
like 160 HP at 6000 RPM. See the plot I just uploaded.
