Thanks Paul:

I am new to the list, and want to rebuild the engines I have. I just got
both a 12a and a 13b. The 12a definitely smokes, and the 13b I have not
looked at yet, because it had a small engine fire which burned the wiring
harness under the intake.

I will look into getting a good manual, and will call Bruce. Are the Mazda
factory manuals good, or whoose?

Rather expensive at $100 and not that good. Try to find
a Haynes 1986 through 1991.
