Hey, guys. I just finished up converting completely over to 2-stroke premix
from the user-friendly all motor oil injection.

I replaced the oil injectors with M10x1.25x~25mm bolts, fuel/oil teflon
taped and tightened into the lower intake manifold and the rotor housings.
I also removed the oil injector lines all together. I didn't remove and
blockoff the oil metering pump yet, but I've got the (4) line outs blocked
off at the moment and sealed up.

I was kind of forced into doing this prematurely yesterday evening because
of a problem with the mechanical oil injection. Last night, while doing
some work on replacing the clutch slave cylinder flexible line w/ a 3000psi
rated stainless-steel braided jobber (I use an extremely heavy pressure
plate and the clutch engagement was all the way to the floor), I noticed the
mechanical oil metering 'throttle rod' was disconnected at the bottom half.
Although I'm suspicious that it had just happened, I can't know for sure.
At that point, even though it was past midnight and I was 40mi from home, I
decided not to risk it and start the hunt for 2-stroke. After about 1/2hr
of driving, we came across Walmart (Wally World). Unbenownced to me, they
seem to carry everything. My friends came out of the Walmart w/ a gallon
jug of Pennzoil Marine outboard 2-cycle oil. I was amazed! On the back of
the jug it reads, "for premix and injector systems". Woohoo!

Anyhow, the FC is totally on 2-stroke premix for combustion chamber oil
metering now. I put about 15oz of it in the tank last night (full tank
yesterday) and headed home.

Results?

Seems to run smoother and smells funky. I'm satisfied with it thus far.

BTW guys I won't be at Oshkosh until Friday or Saturday. Will be at the shady
side of
the tower both days if possible.
