This is the cuteist little stagger wing bi-plane you every
will see. Formerly A Hobi Sorrel design I think.
It looks like a miniature Hyper Bype.

The rights are now owned by Ted Mayfield. Ted flew
it up to Arlington from Oregon. The whole 2 place kit and 
engine package sells for $25K. 

That's a Powerfin prop
which is much better made than a Warp Drive or IVO Prop IMHO.
Ted said he could not get enough pitch with the 75 HP
Wankel Gmbh two rotor rotary. It jumps off the ground
in 100 feet. Climbs like a homesick.....

 The prop flange is too close to the engine and cowl so he needs
a short spacer to allow more pitch with the 70 inch diameter
prop. The prop maker, (Powerfin in Arlington)
was surprised the rotary engine would pull so much pitch with
the three to one PSRU. A 2.5:1 PSRU might work better.

I saw Ted at Sun & Fun and he was having trouble with 
cooling. I made some suggestions for improving the cooling. 
The rad is mounted horzontally under the engine
and the rather crude scoop shown is now working well.
With a better scoop and rad sealing he could probably 
go down on the rad size. Hot rad air finds its way
out through all the holes in the cowl where ever.
