These are designed around a non-barrel elliptical shape. I also incorporated
nylatron skirt and pin
buttons similar to what we use in nitro engines. This means that initially
there is no p/w clearance.
In order to get away from engine break-in and cross-hatching, I used ring
combinations of SS, Plasma moly barrel, & reverse taper ductile.
I did not use mineral for break-in. By the time it was on the runway, it
was, perhaps, 95% seated.
If I keep writing, will not have any material for magazines.
