I should be so lucky!  My previous experience with rotaries has been a
Baja Bug and a Porsche 924 that I converted years ago.  I still have a
'87 six port 13B with a Racing Beat Dellorto setup under my workbench
and a 'custom' 4 port with a modified Mazda 4 barrel in the Porsche. The
Porsche was a cheap test mule to experiment with, designed to cruise a
canyon flat out twice a day for six years (25 miles each way, from 20 to
140 MPH) not a recommended project for anyone.

These experiments were to gain info on the rotary, which has seemed a
natural for aviation.  At 6'5" I am uncomfortable in the RX-7s and
virtually all kitplanes.  I have the plans for the Cozy Mk4 and
E-Racer.  The Cozy seems like it will fit my needs with mods to make it
fit (3 seater, deeper fuse, taller canopy, etc.).  I've made a plywood
and lath mock-up to test fit my frame and a backseat to satisfy my wife
and child.

The Stude is a project of opportunity (how many coupes ripe to rod are
there?).  I've even considered a 20B in the coupe (would be unique!).
