Usually the rotor cooling oil squirters have a spring/ball check valve
that shuts off the squirters at low RPM to keep the rotors
hot for better around town fuel consumption and lower emisssions.
These work in conjunction with an oil temperature thermostate
in the front of the E-shaft. Both of these stock features are disabled
for reliable aircraft use and the oil squirter holes are enlarged
to cool the rotors better under high continuous load use.
BTW I forgot to mention the heat transfer enhancing groves in the
water jacket of the rotor housings. This needs to be done as well.
See the Racing Beat catalog for details.
Also, all of the messages that I receive appear to have been forwarded,
with the indicator on the left side. Is there any to either have the
software strip off the quote indicator, or maybe use a listserv software?
Who knows, maybe it would be easier on you, too. thanks in advance..........

I don't mind Al. The forward marks are supposed to help in
understanding the thread. It will take a while to get used to
the protocol but answers are supposed to come after questions.
Not everbody adheres to this convention however but I wish they would.
