A book could be written on the changes. In fact, there are two REW engines.
One for automatic and the other for manual transmissions. The differences
being in the rear housings. They are four port designs with improved iron
castings, rear motor mounts, crank triggered ignition, larger thrust
bearings, different oil pan and on and on...
But, They still have the same internal balance as the 89-92's, rotor housing
castings and compression ratio.
