Thanks so much for replying as I really find this information about rotarys
interesting--to the point I am thinking about using one for an airplane of my
dreams--sometime in the future. Download time is not a problem. E-mail is a mixed
blessing. Working all day and having to deal with all the e-mails doesn't help much
for when I get home to look at all of these.
Here is another trick. Make a folder in Netscape or IE and transfer all
ACRE NL
messages to the folder and read them later. Or you can make several
folders
with different subjects and transfer by subject.

Two questions though--could a Madza engine, two rotor be used in a Zenith STOL 701?
Firewall forward you will wind up with around 320 pounds. Can a Zenith
STOL 701 handle a 320 pound engine. If not you might want to look at
a Wankel GmbH 75 or 100 HP that weighs less than 100 pounds. A one rotor
Mazda is possible but you would be lucky to save 100 pounds and you
would wind up with only 90 HP or so unless you wanted to turbo it.
And the the Golden West EAA is at Atwater, California in September--is there going
to be any presentations on rotarys there??
I don't know about that. Last year Dave Atkins was scheduled to give a
talk.
I might volunteer if I knew who to contact. I will work on it.
