Subject: Finally enough single radiator area.

I think I have finally figured out how to get enough radiator
area useing only one rad to cool 250 HP or so. It has taken
a dozen drawings so far. If I had Solid Works software like
Jeff I probably could do this stuff faster :-)

The key and major breakthrough was to use an upright engine
and a side exhaust like the Lancair Tigress. The side
exhaust is the way to go for any rotary powered airplane.

The drawing is for a turbo RV6 but almost any side by side
tractor will work. Turbo or muffler. My turbo rotary KIS TR-4
will be a piece of cake fitting all this stuff in the cowl.

I still plan to do a mock before I commit to building the
motor mount, air ducting and manifolds.

The other minor break through is to use a Spearco intercooler
core and integrate it with the intake manifold as shown.

The air ducts will be designed using the guidelines in
Kuchmann and Weber's book the Aerodynamics of Propulsion.

The cooling air will blow over the engine after exiting
the various heat exchangers and escape through streamlined
exits both at the side of the airplane and the bottom.
