NO REAL ENGINE IS EVEN CLOSE TO THE EFFICIENCY OF THE
CARNOT CYCLE - In one of the few areas where Paul and
I agree the Wankel is a true four cycle engine
operating in an average between the theoretical Otto
cycle and Diesel cycle - as do virtuallaly all
internal combustion positive displacement engines (
the Theo Diesel cycle is not predicated on compression
ignition
nor fuel type - "heat addition at constant pressure"
