This company advocates the use of propylene glycol as
a coolant. About a year or so ago we went through
a long discussion on this and decided that it was
not a good thing to do on a rotary engine.

BTW  Jeff has actually designed a successful rotary 
engine that used NPG as a coolant. That was as I
recall the bottom line. The engine must be designed 
for it. The Mazda rotary is not.
