I can find no reference to it in the KSE catalog. Perhaps
it is a stock Chevy small block pump. It is nice however
to see flow as a function of pressure. The middle
curve is the one for the H.P.D. pump.
This is not a proper pump curve. I've done a bunch and this
is pure fiction. There is no way the pressure rises exponentially as flow
rate goes up. They plotted the data wrong or made it up or don't have a
clue but this ain't it. The only thing that makes sense on this chart is
if the pressures on the right only applies to the shaded area. That would
be possible for a pressure vs. flow through the engine but the pressures
are way too high for reality. The pump output curves would be almost
believable if you read it as flow vs. speed (on the left). The problem
here is there is no mention of back pressure. If the condition is flow to
and from a bucket (no back pressure) then the flow vs. speed should be
linear and not exponential. Did I say bullshit yet?
