As I mentioned in a previous message the seal speed has
little to do with the life of a piston engine as almost
all the wear takes place when the seal is stopped at
the top of the stroke. In that case the seal in a rotary 
ought to last nearly forever as it never stops regardless
of the fact it is going 16% faster.
