Short, high speed circle track engines require that almost
every particle of air introduced to the radiator passes through.

A crude "ball park" test is to have the engine idling with a standard
8.5x11 sheet of paper held at the intake area of the vehicle.
The paper should be drawn in close to horizontal.
Just another 2cents worth.

PS- Do not try this on a propeller driven aircraft,
        can be hazardous to your health.
