Might be a good idea to get a scrap engine. A single rotor is easy to
make if you have access to a big lathe and the know how. If not Chris Ross
at Ross Aero has built them and Paul Yaw has tuned them up. Also
try getting an engine or parts from http://www.onerotor.com

As I recall there was some discussion about this six months or so ago.
Gerry Hess expressed his experience having one built. There is a picture
of his engine on the ACRE NL web site.
I don't think there were any drawings however. Try the ACRE NL CD.
