engines.  Since most of the rotors, housings, and e-shafts are
interchangable between engines, I was hoping that the intake manifold on the
4-port engines would be interchangable as well.  I already have an 87 Mazda
Turbo II engine that I plan to rebuild and am trying to think of ways to
improve it.  I plan to install the rotary engine in a Bushby Mustang II
kitplane that I am building.  Right now, my plan is to convert it to a
normally aspirated non-turbo engine by removing the turbocharger and
installing the higher compression rotors from the 2nd Generation N.A. rotary
engine.  Thanks for your help and advice.

It would never fit in your cowl Bob. You are going to need to
make a new intake manifold. It would at least double the height 
of the engine. It is true that it may be slightly lower the the 
Turbo II intake manifold.
