This is what I did to align the engine with the cowl
and thrust line in my KIS Cruiser. Just so happens
a piece of 1 1/4 Sched 40 plastic water pipe fits
the rear main bearing and front cover oil seal almost perfectly.
With a hole in the center of the cowl prop opening
that also fits the pipe you are home free.

Of course the rotors and e-shaft must be removed.
