X-Mozilla-Keys:
The uncertainty principle was promulgated and popularized by no less than
nobel prize winning physicist, Dr. Werner Heisenberg (1901-1976), the
founding father(and in 1924 the assistant to Dr. Max Born) of the QUANTUM
MECHANICS.
(delta x) * (delta p) greater than or equal to h/(2 * pi) --
about 1.05 times ten to the minus 34th power! -- the UNCERTAINTY PRINCIPLE,
circa 1927.
h-bar is measured in Joule-seconds for those not phobic of the metric
system.
x represents the position; p represents the momentum. If you can figure out
the value of h, then you should be a good engineer!
Lore has it that Einstein was very unhappy with the foundations of
quantum mechanics, and told Heisenberg that he did not believe that God
played dice!
Heisenberg's reposte: Einstein -- don't tell God what to play!

I will have to remember that spelling. :-)
