The load on the single rear mount is extremely low because the
front mounts are located at or near the engine/PSRU/prop CG.
One of the real subtle beauties of this type mount.

The Questair Venture used male and female 5/16 rod ends for this 
job despite the fact the engine was well over 400 pounds, 550 cubic
inches and developed 350 HP.

In my case I have to build something that goes around the
KIS Cruiser front landing gear strut. In your case things are
much simpler. Ideally the early front covers had motor mount
bosses built in so these would be ideal if they fit later
engines but I don't think we will be so lucky. In that case
I will probably make a horse shoe shaped device out
of aluminum or .065 4130 steel plate and pick up a 
few pan bolts.

I could use a Barry type mount there or make one out
of silicone rubber 1/8 thick sheet washers and glue
them together with red silicone RTV. That will take
the heat better than the Neoprene most rubber mounts
are made of. I will make a drawing of that soon as well.

The firewall part will be a sheet aluminum box structure
riveted together. You might be able to pick up that existing 
foot box on the RV4.
