Mike two radiators 12 inches by 20 inches by 2 inches
have a total volume of 960 cubic inches.
This rad has a total volume of 1080 cubic inches.
So you could make it shorter or narrower.
One rad has the advantage of simpler plumbing.
There is no question in my mind that a curved duct can be
made to even the flow.
I sharpened my pencil and moved the hat section up
and back to get more room under the engine.
I also drew in a few more details of the stock RV4
landing gear sockets. That structure is so
strong and stiff the motor mount diagonal bracing
can be welded to that rather than the
lower firewall hard points. That cleans things
up a bit and completes the tripods for the motor
mounts. The cross tube under the hat section could then
be eliminated as it has become redundant.
A custom pan will be required.
The front view is shown with the rad dropped down
so you can see the details of the RV 4 landing
gear sockets.
A side exhaust will be required.... make it look like
a real fighter plane. :-)
