Check the Reno rules.  Sportsman does not allow one
off racers like the RRR you propose (and I really like
this idea!).  Kits and plans builts only....

I think the ideal configuration would be a larger
version of the ill fated Vmax Probe by Lars Giertz.
Lots of room behind the pilot for the 3 rotor, low
drag, etc....

Plans are no problem :-)

The RRR I propose would be a contender in the unlimited class, the only
question there is whether or not they'll allow a rotary, remember '91
LeMans.

As for the sport class, our current design will meet the criteria.

Heck you may not even need the PT6 gear box. A six pinion
planetary  for Tracy's gear box may work fine.
