They're doing a fine job of it without Microsoft's help actually.....  Vide the
12 month stock history!

As an AutoCAD reseller, we've been watching the situation.....  Actually
Microsoft has shown no interest in the CAD component from Visio - they appear to
be planning on promoting the diagramming/flow-charting Visio program.

We are now promoting SolidWorks 99 in lieu of Mechanical Desktop or Inventor,
and having just gone through a day training class, I can highly recommend it as
the premiere package in the midrange modeler field.  It's a bit pricey for the
average homebuilder, however.  I count myself lucky to have this available at
work.......
