I don't know why the belt driven PSRU people haven't picked up on this
yet, but it's an absolute revolution in belt design, efficiency, and
noise reduction.  Try the new Eagle PD belts (I think that's what
they,re called) It's an offset herringbone pattern that aids in power
transmission, always keeps the belt on the gear, much less belt dust,
and about 20db reduction in sound.  They'll make-em for you in any size.
