What needs to be done is the following:

1. Form a non-profit corporation called "The association for the advancement
of experimental aircraft".

2. Elect a board of directors.

3. Form a committee of experts in the necessary fields to develop a "PLUG
and PLAY" auto engine conversion for a COZY..Renamed something else.

4. Get a $50.00 donation from all conard members. 500 x $50.00 = $25,000.00.

5. Establish other sources of donation. ( I would gladly pay $50.00 to get a
completely engineered installation of a reliable alternate powerplant.)

6. The results and installation guild and the conversion kit including the
engine and related material would be the property of the association. All
engine conversions kits including the engine, and related installation
material..everything would be sold from the association to the end user.
This would assure a certain level of quality control and set a standard for
base line installations. The small mark-up from the sale would help support
on-going research and development and data tracking of all installations.

Its too expensive and the stakes are high for someone to fund this never
ending, ever lurking temptation to make the fun of flying inexpensive.
