Paul, IVO does not want to sell his prop to anybody with a 4 cyl A/C engine
because of the torque reversal due to the 180 deg firing pulses. It loosens up
the blades and causes the tape to break. I know a few Velocity owners with 4 cyl
Lycos who still run IVO's, but they watch the tape closely and I believe they
are using higher torquing on the blade bolts. Velocity is recommending against
using an IVO with a 4 cyl engine. I hope Greg is aware of this problem and is
watching his tape closely.

It will be interesting to see what Greg reports when he's able to adjust his
prop in flight. From his initial report, it appears that the deep pitch prop is
working efficiently at 210 mph. If he's already at WOT (wide open throttle), he
isn't going to go any faster, even when he can adjust the pitch in flight.

I should have some further info on the deep pitch prop in a couple weeks when
I'm back flying.
