The fund is now up to $1185 split three ways this year. 
Looks like the Sun 100 race is the easiest to win $400 so all you guys with
flying rotary engine powered airplanes tune them up and reduce the drag
and bring them to Sun & Fun. Flat out for  30 minutes is not that
hard. Easy money.

Next years the rules may change as the longer races are harder to achieve
a 200 MPH average so the prize money may be apportioned accordingly. 
Also rumor has it there will be a race from Corona
in So Cal to Sacramento in Northern California in September and in conjunction 
with the Golden State flyin. If that happens this year we will let that go by to save 
the prize money for the 300 mile Copper State Dash in October.

The rules are simple. The airplane must be powered by one or more Wankel
type rotary engines and average 200 MPH for the race distance. The fastest
rotary powered airplane wins $400.

This year, two rotors normally aspirated, two rotors turbo, three rotors 
normally aspirated and three rotors turbo's are all in the same class. 
The rules may change in the future.
