Every time I see a Mazda truck on the road I try to figure out if it has a

rotary.

I would like to buy one do do some cooling test. I want to mount a duct in

the bed

and plumb the coolant back to the rad in the duct. I will then build a trailer
with a perpendicular wall  to increase the HP required. Or perhaps load up the
bed with weight and find a long steep hill. Third plan is go out into the

desert and

find
a road to drive flat out on.

Did they EVER make a rotary truck?  My Dad wore out two B2000s and they were
both the same motor as the  '79 626, a BMW look-alike 4 cyl OHC that would
blow the head gasket like clockwork at 100K miles, fix it and run another
100K.  His
trucks were 80s vintages, like maybe 83 and 89 or so, not too sure.
