My understanding is that a heated (i.e. 3 wire) O2 sensor is more
tolerant of leaded fuel than the unheated one wire version. Also,
I read that Bosch has developed a European spec O2 sensor that is
okay with leaded fuel. I read a passing reference to it in a
magazine but the article didn't have any details or parts
numbers.
