scavenge pump (elec fuel pump) to suck the oil out which allowed us to go to a
.040 jet (75% more flow), and left the vent line as a back up drain should the
scavenge pump fail.

Did you install a thrust bearing (assume you have a 2.17:1 ratio)? You can buy
the Viton double lip seal for  this at a bearing supply house for about $15. The
low temp seal (black neoprene?) is only about $3. I bought a few when I had the
blown seal problems. So far the new system is holding.
