The pinion diameter is about 1 inches and the sun gear is a huge 2.25 inches.
We will call this planet set C.

The sun gear diameter on this one is 2 inches and not 2.5 inches.

There is a fourth configuration using the 2.25 inch sun gear and four, 1.00
inch pinion gears with a 4 5/16 ring gear. This planet set we will call set
"D". In a six pinion version this set(D) is potentially the strongest of
all due to the size of the sun gear reducing the line contact loads on all the gears.
The ring gear of this set should fit in both Tracy's and Ross's housings. It will not
fit
the spline on Tracy's current output shaft however. Unfortunately the reduction ratio
is likely to be even less than the 2.17:1 of PS (A).

Each different set must be used with its matching sun and ring gear.
