Sorry no. Sounds high to me. A simple ribbon or piece of string taped on 
the side window or canopy can probably do a pretty good job.

BTW I knew of a bush pilot in Baja CA that flew cargo in a large radial engine twin
into very short dirt strips.

What he would do was note the stall speed of his airplane (at a safe altitude of
course)
just before landing and calculate an approach speed based on that info. Perhaps 
1.1 to 1.3 times the stall speed. 

Actual gross weight was then automatically taken into consideration.
An angle of attack indicator will not give you that info.
