If both fuel return lines are not identical, i.e. one might have a 1/4 inch
rise in it somewhere that would be enough to influence the return flow
balance. IMHO.  And if the vents (return lines) go to the top of the tank
(above the fuel level), the amount of fuel in the tank will not influence the
return preference.  I am planning on a valve to direct the return.

But I'm learning!
