I had a freind that raced two cycle carts.  We were talking about port
timing, and it ocured to me that the method for  modifyiing the 13b for
peripheral ports seemed to ignore the "Port" timing.  Port timing has to
have some effect on these engines, even at 6000 rpm (the carts he raced were
running 12k+).  Do we have any data on port timing?  I recall a picture of
the ports in the Lemans(?) engine that seemed to have a reference to port
timing, but we have not discussed the picture in this regard.  Any thouhgts?

I have a lot of data on port timing but unless you install
peripheral ports you won't have a lot of options.
You will be limited to what is known as a "street port".
If peripheral ports copy the Lemans engine exactly.
