    My two pumps are plumbed in parallel and the internal check valve can be
checked by running either pump with the other turned off.  Then shut off the
pump and if the check valves are working your fuel pressure will remain at
whatever you set the pressure regulator (assuming your pressure regulator is
OK and working properly). If the fuel pressure does not drop over a couple
of PSI over a 5-10 minute period then the check valves are likely OK.

  My system will hold the fuel pressure for a couple of days.
