This is a selection of Ford planetaries.
The second one over with the four planets  is the one 
in general use in Ford C6 based PSRU'.

The third one over uses the large sun gear just to the right 
of it but the ratio would be less than 2:1 if power was removed
from the ring gear. If power were removed from the planet carrier,
on the other hand, this set would make a fine set for the three
rotor as the sun gear is bigger and stronger. Six pinions of course
would be needed and there may be room for seven pinions as the 
pinions are smaller. 

The ring gear is about the same size as what
we have now so this could fit in Tracy's casting but of course
the entire box would have to be redesigned to accommodate taking
power out of the planet carrier. (Sorry Tracy :-))

I believe this came from a late model Ford AOD (overdrive) transmission.
Virg sent me these parts.

BTW be careful mixing and matching parts as there are subtle changes
in tooth profiles even though the parts are about the same size.
