Just got my airplane out of the hangar for the first
time in a few years
and had it towed down to the FBO for pumping out all
the old 87 octane
and putting in 40 gallons of 100LL at $2.20 a
gallon. Be glad when I get
my rotary powered airplane flying and can burn car
gas at $1.50 a gallon.
Not to mention the 5 gallon an hour reduction in
fuel burn over the O-470
at the same airspeed.

I am nearly ready to run the new engine. Here is a
picture.
That of course is my loyal assistant Mikey under the
engine.

Mikey !!! get out of that prop disc!!! you never can
tell what one of those crazy piston type engines is
going to do :-) Vance

Especialy since the mag wires are not connected yet (mags not grounded) :-)
