Subject: Plan D for pump in tank

I intend to get a flapper valve in the tanks if I can. I am
found of slipping. I like to approach high and slip it in.

Trouble is, the tanks and the wings are already closed on my Cruiser.
There may be flapper valves in there. I need to take another look.
As I recall they may be in the plans.

Paul,
If they were built according to the plans there should have been a flapper
valve installed on the first rib/baffle. It would be good to check that
there is an air vent-hole through the first rib at the top to let trapped air
out of the compartment, because the plans initially ignored telling you that.
 Look through the fuel port.

(A really big crossover might do the job)

Thanks Bill. I will take a look when I go up to the hangar today.
