Just out of interest -Wayne also had a 'small' turbine powered ducted fan on
display at Sun & Fun.  It was about 2 1/2 ft in diameter & 5 feet long. The
fan was a multi-blade affair using something like a 10:1 reduction drive.
Apparently it will develop 500HP. I think the price was projected at around
$30k. One of these on each wing of my Cozy IV might be kinda interesting!
