This I think is what George Lendrich had in mind.
IMHO it is a major breakthrough in simple fuel
injection systems for  low wing airplanes.

When one tank is full the ball check valve closes in that
tank and return fuel is automatically routed to the other tank.

It does not interfer with the vent lines and a separate cross
over line can be used.
