I had started it, then dropped it to build duct3.  Now I'm installing
stators in duct2, and wheelpants, then I need to paint it so I can go
to some flyins this summer without the sun melting my plane! (Need to
paint it white of course).

I do intend to build that intake manifold, probably in the next month
or two.

What are you going to do about the thrust bearing? Have you checked
the e-shaft end play? Rodger Hilyard mentioned something about that.

This may still be a problem.  The endplay does not seem excessive after
almost 100 hours but I need to measure it correctly with a dial
indicator.
Chuck Harbert mentioned that Atkins had modified a 13B to use the 20B
thrust bearing which is supposed to be superior.  If it looks like this
is a problem I'll investigate that option first.

How is the new rubber-bushings-in-the-firewall motor mount coming?
I am real curious about that as I am considering doing it on my
Cruiser.

This one I think will wait until next winter.  I'll have to do some
major work on the firewall for this, I could see this project taking
3-4 months easily at my slow pace, and don't want to take the plane
down during the summer, unless I have to for some other reason.
Definitely need to do it though, I still get vibration, similar to
your typical Cessna.  I do have the rubber Barry mounts, sitting in
a box waiting.

Hey my Cessna does not vibrate! NOT!!! Thanks for the update.
I guess I will see you at Arlington or perhaps the Golden State
flyin which is scheduled for Sacramento this year some time in September.
