Subject: (rx7) Got my car dyno today. :-)

I got my car dynoed on race gas today. Now I found two problems with my car
that needs to be worked on. The first thing is that my fuel pump is not big
enough or the stock fuel lines are too small to support my hp level. The
second thing is that my turbo couldn't hold boost at higher rpm. My 4700cc
worth of injectors were maxed out at 7k rpm when I was running 22psi of boost
and my fuel pressure dropped from 65psi to about 45psi (good thing I got
bigger injectors) at around the same rpm. I think my boost problem maybe
related to the boost controller so I'll retune the boost controller tomorrow
to see if there's any difference. Anyway, here's my best result

Boost set at 22-23 psi (1.55 bar) w/ 50 shot n2o. The boost drops to about
20-21 (1.40 bar) at around 6.5k rpm-8k rpm.

532 rw hp and 450 rw tq

I'm pretty satisified with these numbers since it's getting close to my
target of 550 rw hp. I think once I fixed my boost and fuel problems, I can
probably get more than 550 rw hp. From my calculation, my car "should" run
10.6's with these numbers so we'll see if I can squeeze some more hp out of
my car before next weekend's ID drag wars at Ennis.

Its one tough engine. And that is a two rotor.
