We had a fellow here at Santa Paula that just killed him self
in his Bonanza doing a scud run into the LA basin. He had a business in
Ventura and I am sure he had get home eye'tis.

All you pilots out there, talk up this software for your PC compatible
cockpit computers. If you are thinking of buying a moving
map computer for your cockpit insist that it is PC compatible
so it can run this type of software. 

People are not going to stop scud running. At least it can be made 
safer.

The picture below is from the software and it is updated every second or so by
a GPS. Many accidents would not occur if people were using this kind of
3D software. As Burt Rutan is fond of asking at his talks; "How many people
would fly into the side of a mountain if they could see it? Raise your hands."
